Learning with computer (essay6)

A computer is indispensable for our life, because we use it almost everyday for work, study, hobbies and so on. A computer is very useful, and it helps our life. So, I think we should learn how to use it.

However, I think using a computer is very difficult. When I was a junior high school student, I learned how to use a computer for the first time. We drawn pictures and typed some sentences. First, I like to use a computer, but I came to dislike personal computer when I was a high school student. Because I couldn’t understand class of information processing. We had to presentation with a computer. It is very hard for me, so I thought I didn’t want to use a computer. But now, I was accustomed to using it a little, because we have to write a lot of Blog posts and report in university.

A computer has a lot of functions. For example, it has Internet, Word, Excel, Power point and so on. Internet has so many information of the world. We can check information that I want it. And we can know situation of a lot of country whenever we like. I live alone now, so I don’t get newspaper. So I get some news for Internet. And also, I sometimes buy books by using the Internet, because some on-line bookstore’s books are cheaper than off-line book shop. I think it is useful!

We can also communicate with others by using computer. For example, E-mail, face book, and mixi etc. We especially use E-mail, because it arrives faster than a letter. Then we can send some attached file. Attached file is picture, photograph, document and so on. I’m sent E-mail from my professor, and I also send it sometimes for hand in my homework.

We use a computer for learning foreign language. The university students who majoring English are use Power Words. Power Words is function for enrich our vocabulary. I don’t know a lot of English vocabulary, so Power Words is difficult. But I think it is “kill two birds with one stone”, because we can learn many vocabulary and typing skill through Power Words.

Using a computer is so difficult, so some people don’t like using it. So I think a computer has to become easy to use. A computer is very useful. I want to use it perfectly someday!!

Secrets of Kumamoto (essay5)

I’ll talk about secrets of Kumamoto this time. Do you know a movie “Yomigaeri（黄泉がえり）”? The movie is a very famous in Japan. Actually, the movie was set in Kumamoto prefecture!

Shinji Kajio is writer of “Yomigaeri”. He is from Kumamoto prefecture, so he chose Kumamoto as place of filming. His work was serialized in “Kumamoto Nichinichi Shinbun” from 1999, April 10 to 2000, April 1. A lot of place-name of Kumamoto was written in the original. The serial story became a movie in 2003. The movie was in great vogue, so period of showing was postponed. And also, DreamWorks SKG get a right that re-make of “Yomigaeri” in 2008. It will be released in the future. DreamWorks SKG produced many famous movies. So, I’m looking forward to watching it!

Next, I’ll simply write about the movie . Meaning of “Yomigaeri” is “wake from death”. A lot of dead persons waked from death in the movie. But it is not horror film. It contained various feelings. For example, it contained sadness, happiness, love and so on. Tsuyoshi Kusanagi played the leading character. I thought he is a good actor. Then, Kou Shibasaki played a singer. Her voice was very beautiful, so I liked her songs! The movie was really good, so please try to watch it!

Kumamoto prefecture has a lot of nature, so I thought there was suitable to shoot a film. I want more people to know Kumamoto through a lot of movie, books and so on.

Community Life (essay4)

I introduce my community life this time. I belong to a club in KGU, so my community is the club. The club is Accounting Research Club. I want to introduce members of ARC.

ARC has 34 members. Freshmen are 11 people, sophomores are 6, third graders are 10 and fourth graders are 7.

Freshman entered ARC this spring. We recruited hard in April, so I was very happy when they entered our club. They are first our juniors for sophomores. So I want to get along very nicely with them.

Sophomores are not so many people, so we are short of hands sometimes. But I like sophomores, because they are very interesting and kind. Two men of sophomores are especially funny! I think they look comic dialogist. A man who is the tallest in sophomores is also interesting. He likes game, so he always plays “Monster Hunter” recently. A man who is the shortest among sophomores has altered in character, I think. A girl is very feminine. Her clothes are always womanlike and sexy! First, I thought she was stable person. But now, I think she is a little eccentric sometimes! We have to play an important role in ARC next year. I have a lot of worry, but I want to do everything possible.

Third graders are group of individual person. They retired from the club when we finished Takumasai. I felt lonely, but their graduation is still a long way off. So, I want to play with them except group activities.

Fourth graders are interesting!! Two women are so cute and kind. First I can’t chat with them, because I was keyed up. But now, I like chat with them! They will graduate KGU next spring. I am very sad, and I feel lonely. But I want to celebrate their graduation, and say good luck!

When I entered KGU, I was reluctant to join the club. But I met good friends through the club. So, it is good for me to join ARC. In future, we may have some problem, but we cooperate to want to get over it.

Family
Mr. Daniel’s family was five members, Daniel, Miranda, two daughters and son. Daniel and Miranda were married couple. Daniel loves his children, so he played with them. Miranda loves children, too. But she was very serious, so she wanted to study hard. Daniel and Miranda’s educational system didn’t agree. So Miranda was tired, and decided to divorce her husband.

My family was four members, my father, mother, younger brother and me. My father likes children, so I and My younger brother were cherished by him. And also, he likes to play with kids. When I was an elementary school student, and my younger brother was a Kindergartener, we went to a lot of place. Then we played catch, tag and boomerang and so on. I liked playing with him. So when I watched the movie, I thought Daniel resembled my father in character. My mother is a little serious likes Miranda. But she didn’t tell me study hard. She respects the feelings of me, so I appreciate her educational system. If I bear a child in the future, I’ll bring up like my mother.

Disguise
After divorce, Daniel disguise as various women for meeting his children. A young woman’s disguise was so interesting! But disguise of old woman suited after all.

When I was a junior high school student, I disguised as Clara Sesemann of Heidi, Girl of the Alps. First, I was ashamed to disguise, but performing others was so exciting!!

Smile
The movie had some serious scenes. But on the one hand, the movie was brimming over with smile!
I like smile, because I thought smile wormed our heart. Smile is very important for all, so I always want to smile!!

[My favorite place: My parents' home]

My favorite place was my parents’ home. My parents’ home stands Oita prefecture. Oita prefecture has a lot of nature, so there is a lot of nature around my parents’ home, too. And also, there is Ono River around there. I was listening to the murmur of a river as I slept. A lot of nature mended me. I also liked looking a sky through a window of my parents’ home.
When I was a child, I didn’t like my parents’ home and Oita prefecture, because there was the province. I often thought that I didn’t need a lot of nature! I wished for a department store or restaurant!! But I noticed that I love my parents’ home, Oita prefecture and nature when I started to live alone at Kumamoto prefecture. Of course, Kumamoto prefecture has nature, too, and I like there. But I prefer Oita prefecture to Kumamoto prefecture. Kumamoto prefecture is urban than Oita prefecture.

There are a lot of memories in my parents’ home.
When I was a junior high school student, I had a white rabbit. I kept him in the room. So I played with him everyday after I returned from the school. He sometimes bit our house’s pillar, so we were scolded by my father. A scar of pillar was my good memory!

And also, a lot of my friends came to my house when I was a pupil. I and my friends often played dolls, drew a picture, watched animated cartoon and played house. When I came home, I remembered that my childhood. I enjoyed everyday in those days.

When I was a high school student, I studied various subjects everyday, because I had to take the entrance examination for university. I have been tired at that time, and I have burst myself. These are bad memory for me. But I was supported my mother and my father. My mother sometimes took me out for shopping and cooked bedtime snack. Then my father encouraged me everyday. I remember some bad memories when I enter my room and watched my desk. However, I remember a lot of lovely memories at the same time.

The last reason why I like my parents’ home is my family. I love my family, so I want to return home constantly! And also, I like my mother’s cooking. My mother said she didn’t like cooking, but I thought her cooking was very good and delicious!! I am a bad cook, so I’m glad to eat her cooking when I return home.

I will return my parents’ home next winter vacation. I want to be healed from a lot of nature, so many memories and my family!

Web site review (rewrite) (essay1)

I often watched “SESAME STREET” on the TV when I was a girl. I couldn’t understand English at that time, so I had watched dubbing into Japanese. It was very interesting! I liked SESAME STREET, so I decided to write review about the Web site.
The Web site’s name was “123 SESAME STREET beta”. The Web site had a lot of fun content. For example, there were GAMES, VIDEOS, SESAME PLAYLISTS, MUPPETS and so on!

GAMES page had many easy games. These were used easy English, so I could play some games without constraint.

VIDEOS page had various fun videos. I liked “Global Grover: Get To School”. Grover and camel appeared the video. They were interesting, and I thought they were like comic duo! And also, I liked “Preschool Musical”, because many character appeared the video and they sang a song. All of them were wonderful singer! When I watched the video, I wanted to sing a song!!

SESAME PLAYLISTS page had also many video like a VIDEOS page. But I thought that the page seemed to be useful for children’s education, because these videos title were “Ready for School”, “Fun at School” and “Learning is Fun” and so on. I watched “Fun at School”. First, many student’s picture appeared the video. Next, students played chess. They looked happy! Finally, I watched “Elmo’s Patty time”. Elmo, Zoe and Baby Bear appeared! Their conversation was enjoyable and I thought foreign country’s school seemed to be happy.

In MUPPETS page, twelve main characters were introduced. Character’s name were Abby Cadabby, Count Van Count, Oscar the Crouch, Bert, Elmo, Rosita, Big Bird, ernie, Telly Monster, Cookie Monster, Grover and Zoe. I had known all character’s appearance, but I didn’t know six character’s name. And I checked how many characters in SESAME STREET. There were 29 characters, but this number was not exact, because this figure was number of main character.

I love Elmo, so I watched his introduction. His description was friendly and cheerful monster, and his birthday was February 3! I didn’t know his birthday, so I was surprised. By the way, he is 3 years old! Then I watched some Elmo’s movie. All of them were very cute, so I got to like him more and more!!
Next, I watched Big Bird’s introduction. He was 8-foot-2-inch yellow bird! 1 foot is 30.48 centimeters, and 1 inch is 2.54 centimeters. So his height is 248.92 centimeters!! I thought he was “Big” Bird surely.
Finally, I watched Cookie Monster’s introduction. His fur color is blue, and his appearance likes Elmo. His favorite food was cookies, cookies, and more cookies!!

I like SESAME STREET’s character, so I enjoyed the Web site!!!

Language learning history (essay 5)

I am a student of Britain and American in KGU. I study English and other language, so I introduce my language learning history this time.

When I was a junior high school student, I started to study English for the first time. Although I referred to English a little when I was a elementary school student, I don't remember then. At first, I didn't like study English because I felt that studying English is very difficult for me. I had not studied foreign language until I become a junior high school student. So, I didn't know anything about English. I didn't want to study English, but I had to take an examination. I studied English hard! I was not good at English grammar, so I especially studied it. Then I passed examination without hindrance, and I came to like English gradually.

When I was a high school student, I learned some English skills. For example, I learned about writing, reading and grammar. I got to like English grammar a little, but I didn't get to like gradually. Because my English grammar's teacher was bad at teaching. So, I couldn't understand her lesson, and I didn't study English.

However, I thought that I want to study English again. A prompt was a school trip. My high school students want to New Zealand when we are a junior. I stayed with a family. The family had five members, father, mother, their daughter and two sons. They were very kind and gentle, so I liked the family very much. I wanted to talk with their about my family, New Zealand, Japan, culture of each other and so on. But I couldn't talk about it too much, because I thought making a mistake in English is shame. So, I depended on my friends many times. But now, I regret depending on my friends. Actually, I want to talk with the family in my speaking skill. When I returned home from a school trip to New Zealand, I thought that I should study English harder! So, I studied English earnestly from now on. Then, I was interested in some jobs concerning English. Therefore I decided to go the university which has British and American Department.

In the University, I learned speaking, listening, writing, reading and grammar of English. All subjects were very difficult for me. Speaking was particularly difficult and hard. Because we had to do presentation many times. I was afflicted by it, but I'm happy now! Because we didn't have to do presentation when we became a sophomore!

Also, I took a TOEIC and Eiken for progress of the English ability. Both of them are not easy, but I will continue to take it. And, I want to gain my end.

I studied Chinese and Spanish as well as English when I was a freshman. Sentences of China are written in Chinese character. Japanese also use Chinese character so many times, so I thought Chinese is intimate. Then I studied Spanish, because I want to go Spain in the future, and I want to see 'Sagrada Familia (El Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia)'.

Learning foreign languages are very difficult. But I like studying foreign language, because I'm interested in foreign countries in studying it.

I have studied English since junior high school, and I will continue to learn it. Learning language is very difficult, but I think it is interesting. I want to speak English fluently in the future, so I I will try my best !

MR 1-02:THE GREEN MILE (essay 4)

I watched 'THE GREEN MILE' two times on TV. I like action and comedy movie, but this movie is a little dark and make me mediate. I felt many things when I watched the movie. So, I talk about 'THE GREEN MILE' this time.

When an old man watched some movie in old people's home, he remembered that he had been young. He started to cry suddenly, so his friend took out him for a walk. Then he began to talk about his experience of his youth slowly. His memory was strange and sad. He couldn't forget the memory, and the old man who has many complex feelings alive now.

The old man's name is Paul Edgecomb. He worked at the prison of Cold Mountain as a warder. He was sincere man, so he was yearned for his men. His men is excellent and reliable. But only Percy was insolent. He is a nephew of governor of the state, so he come it over with his boss and colleagues. He was hated everyone.

One day, a giant black man came the prison, because he killed two children. So he was pronounced the death penalty. When the warders made him enter the prison, he cried and said 'I wanted to return two girls, but I couldn't do that!'

The giant black man's name is John Coffey. He has a special ability, so he said ' I wanted to return...'. Actually, he can recovery people's illness and hurt, and also he can move away from a person to the other person. Coffey use his ability, and he wanted to help two girls. So, it was not him who killed two girls. He was not killer!
Paul noticed that Coffey is innocence, because he had his illness recovered by Coffey's special ability. He thought he wants to help Coffey, but Coffey said, 'I don't watch sad occurrence and hear sad news. So I want to die here.'

A prisoner walk to electric chair. The distance was called 'THE GREEN MILE', because a color of hallway was green. Many people died here, and Paul has watched it many times here. He seldom cries, but he cries truly when Coffey died. Paul and his men were very sad, but Coffey looked at peace on the deathbed.

Paul finished talking about his experience of his youth. Then, he said, 'When I had treated my disease, I got a drop of Coffey's special ability. So, I live very long time. But I am not happy, because I have to see my wife and my friend on their deathbed. So I sometimes want to die, but I can't. I killed an Innocent person, I must make up for doing.'

First, I thought the movie was scary, because a scene of two girls dying and death penalty seemed to be real. But the movie was not only scary and sad. The relationship between the warders and the prisoners was good, so it was touched my heart. I thought I want to watch the movie many times!

University Life (essay 3)

I am a Britain and America department student. I want to work at airport, so I should study English. But naturally, I also study other subject. Studying many subjects is very hard for me, but I enjoy University life. So, I introduce my University life of Friday this time.

First, I go to University, and I take a first class. The first class is Introduction to International low. This class is very difficult for me, because I don’t know the language of the low. So, I’ll have difficulty with test of the class. The second class is SpeakingⅢ. Teacher of this class is very interesting and gentle, so I like him. And also, members of the class are active and full of vigor! I enjoy the class. I want to progress with speaking English.

Next is lunch time. I also some bread at bakery. When I was a freshman, I often eat at bakery. But I eat lunch here and there recently, because many people eat at bakery. So, I am lucky that if I eat lunch there. I also eat lunch at Gakusyoku with my friends. There are many foods, and those are very cheap. I live alone, so I’m glad about the price of food. By the way, I especially like Ontama curry.

After lunch, I don’t take a third class, so I sometimes do homework or watch a movie at a library. Afterward, I take a forth class. The class is the International society and Japan. Also this class is as difficult as Introduction to International low. But I think this class is very important. Because I study English, so I think I should know affair all over the world.

Finally, I participate in club activity. I belong to Accounting Research Club. We enjoy playing billiards, bowling, Karaoke end so on. I could meet many wonderful friends through the club. I want to cherish human relations.

I think studying is very hard, and doing homework is so troublesome. But those are important for me. And also, there is a lot of pleasant things everyday. So, I enjoy University life!

The princess's name is Fiona. Fiona is very beautiful lady. She seems to be graceful, but actually , she is strong.
Farquaad want to marry her, but he don't love her. He want to marry for becoming perfect king, so he want to help Fiona from castle. He said to Shrek "If you could help Fiona, I will return your forest." Shrek and The donkey went to Fiona's castle, and they fought with dragon. They won a battle and helped Fiona.
At first she don't like Shrek, but she loves him to find that he is very gentle and kindness. However she decided to marry Farquaad, because she has a secret. Fiona transform herself into ugly figure at night. This curse can free of her with kiss of a prince, so she decided to marry Farquaad. But Shrek disturbed their marriage, because he also loves Fiona. Shrek accepted Fiona's secret, so she select for him.
Last Shrek returned back his forest, and he, Fiona, The donkey and many characters of fairy story lived happily.

Themes of this movie are love, friendship, courage and gentleness.

[Feelings]
At first I don't like Shrek, because I dislike his character. I thought his character is dismal and disgusting monster. But actually, he was gentle and interesting, so I like him now. And I like Fiona too. Fiona is a cool lady! I am hankering for her.
Shrek and Fiona love each other, and they think the donkey also is best friend.
I thought a movie is brimming over with love.
