BR 2-14: More Macdnalds

I introduce “More Macdnalds” this time. This story had three chapters, but I introduce only one chapter.

Chapter one was “A Worry for Mouse and Jojo” Mouse and Jojo were twins, and they had a younger brother. Three children grew up, so their house because very small. Their father had a wonderful idea. He said they will built extra room on side of their house. They thought it was good idea, but Mouse and Jojo quarreled, because both of them want to use a new room.

This story was interesting for me, because I have a younger brother, so I understood Mouse’s mind!

BR 2-13: Man-Eating Snails

I introduce “Man-Eating Snails” this time.
A main character of the story is Billy Steel. He was a wheelchair user, but he was very active!
One day, he had a brilliant idea. He went to his friend Ravi’s shop for telling Ravi about his an idea.

Billy said they are going to open Safari Park. Ravi thought Billy was mad, because we can’t get a lot of wild animals and enough space. But Billy had a interesting idea. When Ravi heard his idea, he couldn’t help laughing. Billy said he opened a Safari Park at Castle Park. There is Castle Park in Ravi’s back garden! Ravi thought Billy’s idea was fun, so he agreed with Billy. They gathered Castle Park a lot of animals. But all animals were not wild animals. For example, they gathered dog, cat, a large snail, a spider and a dead mouse. All animals were not dangerous, but they told a lie. Then they opened their Safari Park. A lot of their friends came to there.

A boy found “Man-Eating Snail”, but he couldn’t believe it, because the snail seemed to normally. Of course, his opinion was true. But Billy said it was baby of Man-Eating Snail.
A girl found “Very Small Panda from China” But it was a mere black and white cat.
Billy and Ravi’s friends found many crazy animals. For example there were “Leaping Trick Mouse”, “Wild FANGWOLF” and “BLACK WEIRDO SPIDER”.

Suddenly, they started to act up! So, Safari Park came tumbling down. But they got a interesting memory.

I thought Billy and Ravi were mad!! But opening Safari Park was interesting.

BR 2-12: Stories of Ponies

I read “Stories of Ponies”, so I introduce the book this time.

The book had three contents. First content was ‘Pony magic’ Magic was a black pony. His master was Molly. She liked Magic, but he had some problem.
One day, Molly and Magic entered for contest. Molly wanted to do her best, but Magic didn’t hear her instructions. She gave up win the contest. But Magic had a forte for the jumps! So, they decided to enter other contest. Magic cleared every single one without fault, so they were winner!!
I thought Molly and Magic was a very good partner!:)

Next content was ‘The naughtiest pony’ Rascal was a pony, and his master was Becky.
One day, Rascal, Becky, her aunt Elspeth and her horse walked on the forest. After walking, Becky let Rascal into the field. Rascal seemed to be happy! When Becky cleared Rascal’s saddle, she heard sound of her aunt’s car. Becky ran out the barn. Then, she watched car and the pony. So, Rascal closed a road. Her aunt was angry and said to her that you had to shut the gate to the field!! But she shut it surely…
Why the gate was open? Because Rascal can open the gate himself!
I thought Rascal was really clever!

Last content was ‘The littlest pony’ Pony’s name was Sugar, and her master was Sally. Sugar and Sally were little, so her brother Marco made a fool of them. One day, Sugar disappeared, so Sally and Marco looked for her. When they went to forest, they found Sugar. They wanted to take back their barn, but they couldn’t. Because Sugar’s halter was caught on a branch. Marco tried to slip her halter, but his body was big, so he couldn’t come in narrow space. Next, Sally tried to slip it. Her body was little, so she could go in the space and slip it! She didn’t like her height, but she got to like it this time.
I thought this story was interesting! Sally is a kind and gentle, I think.:)

BR 2-11: Young Cam Jansen and the Pizza Shop Mystery

I will introduce “Young Cam Jansen and the Pizza Shop Mystery” this time.

Mr. Jansen, his daughter Cam and her friend Shelton went to the shopping mall, because they needed things for school. They bought pencils, pens, crayons, notebooks, and other things. After shopping, they were hungry. But they didn’t know where the restaurant was. Then, Cam closed her eyes and said “click!” She has an amazing memory. She can remember a lot of scenes by using her special ability. So, she could remember where the restaurant was.

They went to “MEL’S PIZZA SHOP” There were a lot of people, so Cam and Shelton got a table, and Mr. Jansen lined up front the Pizza Shop for buying some pizza and drink. Cam and Shelton could get the table. She hanged her jacket on chair, and they went to front of the shop, because they told where they are sitting. Mr. Jansen understood where they sit down.

Cam and Shelton returned their table. Then Cam’s Jacket was lost! Cam said “Click!” again and again. But she couldn’t remember the whereabouts oh her Jacket. Mr. Jansen carried some food and drink and asked what you were looking for. She explained a problem. They looked at the backs of the chair and under the table. But they couldn’t find it.

Mr. Jansen told clerk of the pizza shop that Cam’s jacket was lost. Then the clerk brought a box to front of them. There were so many lost things in the box. For example, hats, gloves, scarves, a baby shoe and so on. But they couldn’t find her jacket.

Cam said “Click!” again. Then she could remember a scene, and understood why her jacket was lost. A woman took her jacket, because she had the mistaken idea that Cam’s jacket was her daughter’s one. So they looked for the woman, and Cam received it.

I thought Cam’s special ability was so good!! I want to get same ability. By the way, a meaning of “Cam” was “Camera” I think it is interesting!

BR 2-10: Le Petit Prince

I read “Le Petit Prince” in this time. This book was very famous. The book was written by Antoine De Saint Exupery. The book is read and loved all aver the world.
When I was a high school student, I read it first time. I think this book make a sarcastic remark about adult people. I thought I don’t want to lost heart of kids.

BR 2-09: Sam Runs Away

Do you like your parents? I like their, but Sam doesn’t like her parents. Sam is main character of “Sam Runs Away” I will introduce the book this time.

Sam’s parents always quarrel about anything. For example, when Sam’s dad switched on the radio, Sam’s mother switched off it. She said him radio was very noisy, and Sam didn’t like radio! Then, her father said mother Sam liked listening to music with radio! Sam said nothing, because she was weary of arguing her parents.

One day, she read a book. Then, her parents started to fight again. She was impatient of them. So, she ran out of house!

She ran back towards the castle and met a boy. His name is Ben. He asked her what she was doing. She explained about her parents. He understood her problem, but he said that she should go home, because he thought her parents surely worried about her. Sam decided to go home.

When she got back, her parents were so angry. She felt very sad started to cry. Her parents was surprised her tears. Then they asked the reason why she ran away. She talked about her problem slowly. They didn’t know her mind. After Sam’s talking, they understand her opinion. She was starting to feel better.

They decided it was time for tea. Her dad made pancake, and her mum boiled sausages. Sam came to like her parents. They had a pretty good time.

My parents seldom quarrel, I thought Sam was very pity. But she was understood from her parents finally. I was glad to read end of the book. The story warmed my heart!!

BR 2-08: Ben and the Ghost

I will introduce “Ben and the Ghost” this time. The book didn’t have so many words, I finished reading soon.

One day, Mr. and Mrs. King received an invitation. It was written: Grand Fancy Dress Dinner and Dance. So, they dressed up as ghosts. But Ben and Tessa said they weren’t scary at all. Ben and Tessa are children of Mr. and Mrs. King.
Tessa watched to dress up as pop singer, but she didn’t receive an invitation, so she couldn’t disguise. Ben and Tess had to stay at home.

Their parents worried about their children, so they called their parents. Grandparents of Ben and Tessa came to their house soon. Then Mr. and Mrs. King went to the party, and grandparents and children went to house of Big G. Big G is Ben and Tessa’s grandfather. Incidentally, Little G is a grandmother.
When they left for Big G’s house, rain felt from the sky. So their clothing was drenched with rain. They changed their dress soon. Ben hanged out his clothes on his bed to dry.

Next, they started to Pajama Party! Their grandparents prepared a lot of dishes. Ben and Tessa enjoyed the party. They had a very very good time.

After Pajama Party, Ben and Tessa went to bed. They slept soon. But Ben waked up suddenly. He was half asleep, so he didn’t understand where he was. He started into the darkness.
He watched at the foot of him. Then he shouted, “Ghost! Ghost!! Ghost!!!” Tessa waked up, and she also shouted!
Big G and Little G came to their room, and switched on the light. They asked Ben what’s the matter. Ben answered that he saw a ghost. They saw at the foot of him. There was his T-shirt.
So, he had the mistaken ides that his T-shirt was ghost!

I thought Ben was so cute boy! But I also had the mistaken idea that my clothes was a man, so I couldn’t scoff at his mistake!

BR 2-07: Tigger Comes to the Forest

Do you know Tigger, Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Kanga and Roo? They are character of Disney. But the book that I read this time was not Disney. I thought the book, names “Tigger Comes to the Forest” was original.

The book had four contents. First content was ‘Tigger makes an appearance.’ When Winnie-the-Pooh slept at night, but he suddenly waked up, because he heard strange voice. He opened a door and looked a child tiger. He said “Hallo”, and the tiger said, too. The tiger’s name was Tigger. Pooh made friends with Tigger.
Pooh ate honey in the morning, but Tigger didn’t like honey. So, he couldn’t have breakfast. Tigger said that he like Haycorn, so they went to Piglet’s house. Piglet likes Haycorn!!

Second content was ‘Tigger meets a very small animal.’ Piglet was friend of Pooh. He is very small, so he lived in tree. Pooh and Tigger explained the happening of the morning. Then Piglet gave Tigger some Haycorn. He ate them, but he stoped to eat, because he didn’t like it!

Third content was ‘Tigger tries to eat a thistle!’ When they were in trouble, Pooh found Eeyore. He was also Pooh’s friend. Eeyore liked thistles, so Tigger tried to eat it, too.
“Ow!” he said, because thistles were so hot! He didn’t like thistle…

Forth content was ‘Tigger finally eats breakfast.’ Pooh and Piglet walked slowly after Tigger, and they didn’t speak. They didn’t have a good idea about breakfast of Tigger. When they walked along the street, they met Christpher Robin. He was a boy, and he was a friend with them. They explained their problem, he gave them an advice. Then they started to work for Kanga’s house. She lived with her child, Roo. Kanga, Christopher Robin and Piglet were all standing around Roo, and they watching him. Kanga gave Roo the Extract of Malt. It is his Strengthening Medicine. But he didn’t want to drink it. Then Tigger drink it in behalf of Roo!! Roo was very happy!
Tigger didn’t like the Extract of Molt, but he drank it. Why? Because he want to be strong, and help Roo. So, Piglet said to Pooh, ‘he is been strengthened quite enough.’

The story was warmed my hart to read the book. First, I thought Tigger was a liar, but it is my mistake. He was very kind and cool! I came to like Tigger so much!!

BR 2-06: New York Cafe

I’ll introduce “New York Café” this time. This story was written about the near future.
I didn’t like the book, because I couldn’t understand the story well. I felt it is difficult and complex.

It is the year 2030, and an E-mail arrived at New York Café. The E-mail said ‘I want to help poor people and make them happy. So, please help me!’
This E-mail seemed to be good on the surface, but it’s really bad! Because a man who sent the E-mail had people on a string, and threatened some people. And the man acted up a lot of computers. But finally, the police couldn’t catch the man.

When I finished reading the book, I couldn’t clear the head. I want to choose more plain book next time.

BR 2-05: OLVER & AMANDA AND THE BIG SNOW

I read “OLIVER & AMANDA AND THE BIG SNOW” this time.
Main character of this story was Oliver and Amanda. They were pig brothers. Oliver was a boy, and older than Amanda.

One day, it snowed around their house. They like snow, so they were very happy! They wore a lot of clothes. For example, sweaters, scarf, glove and cap. They felt warmly. Then, they went to outside!

First, they left their footmarks in the snow, and watched bird’s nest.

Next, Oliver, Amanda and their father removed snow, and they made a big snow mountain! Oliver and Amanda climbed the mountain. It was so exciting. Then they started to make some snowballs. Oliver wanted to make a hundred snowballs, but the second half, he asked Amanda to make it. And he was started to make his fort. Amanda thought that he was dishonest. She wanted to make own fort too, so she said to him that she wanted to alternate. But he didn’t alternate. So she was angry, and she went back her house. She played with her mother in the house.
Oliver was tired, so he called his younger sister. Amanda and her mother went out outside. And they made a tunnel at big snow mountain.

Finally, they played sledding! They were addicted to the sledding. Suddenly, their mother said “Let’s male a sandwich”. Oliver and Amanda didn’t understand her suggestion. Their mother explained to them about meaning of sandwich. Its meaning was “we all ride together”. Their mother rode on the bottom, then Amanda, then Oliver. Their mother and Oliver were bread, and Amanda was ingredient. It looks Sandwich!! They had a very very good time!!

Oliver and Amanda hoped it will be big snow!

I thought Oliver and Amanda were cute brothers. I have a younger brother, but he take a cool attitude toward me…
I don’t like cold, because I have a poor blood circulation. But I like now! It is very beautiful!! When I was a pupil, I had a snowball fight, and made a snowman with my family or friends. It was very good memory. Recently, I didn’t watch a snow, so I want t o watch it this winter. And I want to take a lot of pictures!!

BR 2-04: Mr. Putter & Tabby Take the Train

I read “Mr. Putter & Tabby Take the Train” I thought the book’s illustrations were so cute, so I chose it. The book had three paragraphs. First was “An Idea”, second was “Another Idea” and third was “Taking the Train”. The book was written in easy English, so it was easy to read for me. But I couldn’t understand meaning of “binoculars”. I consulted a dictionary for the meaning. “Binoculars” meaning was Sougankyou(双眼鏡). I learned!!

One day, Mr. Putter and his cat, Tabby was cooking as he phoned Mrs. Teaberry. Mrs. Teaberry was old woman and his friend. She also had a pet. Her pet was dog, name was Zeke. Tabby and Zeke were friends, too.

Mrs. Teaberry said Mr. Putter “I think we should take a train!” She always thinks of strange things. But this idea was proper! And also, he liked a train, so he decided to rise to the bait. Then he asked her if pets could take the train. She said “Of course!”

Mr. Putter, Mrs. Teaberry and their pets went to the station. They were happy! But the ticket woman said that their pets couldn’t take a train. Mrs. Teaberry was very surprised!! And she said “WHAT!?”

They went home, but one hour later, they came back the station. And they bought two tickets. Where were their pets going? Mr. Putter’s cat came in Mrs. Teaberry’s basket, and her dog came in his rucksack, actually!! So they and their pets had a very very good time in the train.

I thought it was interesting that the relationship Mr. Putter between Mrs. Teaberry. When I was a junior high school student, I had a rabbit as a pet. He was so cute!!! I loved him, so I thought I want to have a pet again.

BR 2-03: JENNIFER LOPEZ

I read “JENNIFER LOPEZ” this time. The book had 1900 words, so it took me a lot of trouble to read. But I thought that the book was so fun!!
I know Jennifer Lopez, but I didn’t know her history.

Many people thought Jennifer was born in Puerto Rico. But the information is not truth. She is form Bronx, in New York.
She is not only beautiful, but also interesting! She liked dancing performance and singing.
First, she challenged to dance. She learned it in a school. So dancing was her forte.
Next, she challenged to act, “In South Central”, she played Lucy. Her performance was very very good!! She was spotted and recruited as the Hollywood Actress! She appeared as many character at a lot of movie.
In 1997, she played Selena Quintanilla. Selena was a very famous Mexican singer. But Selena’s life was short, so the movie was sad story. “Selena” was very important to Jennifer. After filming, she noticed pleasure of singing. So she wanted to be a singer.
Finally, she challenged to sing a song. She becomes a wonderful singer! In 1999, she released first CD “On the 6” Her music was very popular.
Now, Jennifer Lopez is number one, of course!!

When I finished reading this book, I got to like Jennifer Lopez. I thought she is very beautiful, spirit and wise! I wasn’t familiar with her, but I could know about her. I yearn for her, I want to be a wonderful woman like Jennifer Lopez!!!

BR 2-02: THE FIFTEENTH CHARACTER

I read “THE FIFTEENTH CHARACTER” this time. This story has five paragraphs. The main character of this story is Sally Brown. She works Happy Hills. Happy Hills is amusement grounds. She worked hard because she wants to get a lot of money for her dream. She wants to be a teacher in the future.

One day, she had to wear a costume of Connie Cat. Connie Cat is very famous character of Happy Hills. But she didn’t want to wear it. She unwillingly wore it.
A famous singer, name Zapp came Happy Hills. Sally was his fan! So she was very happy!! When Zapp got off a helicopter, Sally wanted to yell. But she couldn’t do that, because her boss, Ken Parry was watching her.

When Sally and her friend took a break, a lot of people came in their lounge! According to their boss, Zapp’s new CD seemed to be lost. Zapp was very angry, so boss phoned a police station, and closed up Happy Hills.
A few minutes later, four policemen came to there. They assembled visitor and employee, and started interrogation. There was fifteen employees that wearing character costume in the room. But Sally thought fifteen employees were strange! She checked JOBS list so carefully. Then she noticed, Charlie Clown wasn’t on the list!! So policemen caught a woman that wearing Charlie Clown costume. And Zapp got back his new CD!

One day, Sally and her friends went to Zapp’z Concert because Zapp invited her!!

This story is little long, but I finished reading it soon, because it was so fun for me! I like amusement grounds, so I want to work part-time as a employee in the future. And I like concert, so I was jealous of Zapp’s invitation.

BR 2-01: TAXI OF TERROR

I read “TAXI OF TERROR” this time, because the book looks like comic. This book’s YL is 0.8, so it was written in easy English. I thought it is easy to read for me.

The main character of the book was Jack. He resigned his job and got a new job. So his colleague held farewell party for Jack. Some colleague gave him a leaving card, and his boss gave him a mobile phone. He felt so happy!

After the party, he wanted to go home, so he walked a street. But the day was very cold, so he wanted to ride on a taxi. Then Jack found a taxi and said “I lived at 57 Park Road. Can you take me there?”
Jack slept in the taxi. He was very tired. Suddenly, a man rode on a taxi, and he said “Say nothing!” He had a gun!! So he was a robber. The Taxi driver felt a terror, but Jack didn’t get up yet!

A few minutes later, Jack got up. But the robber didn’t notice him. Jack was surprised at the happening! He wanted to catch the robber, but failed in his plan. He was locked in the boot of the taxi. It’s too small, so he felt pain. He wanted to go out from there. So he reflected that way of flight from the boot.

Then, he remember that he was gave a mobile phone from his boss! He phoned the police station soon!!
He explained the present condition. The policemen understood his situation. They started to find the taxi.

The taxi stopped at airport. The police men found the taxi, and caught the robber. The Policemen and the taxi driver felt relief.

Then, they heard cry “Help me!! Help!!!!”
So, they forget about Jack!

This story was little serious, but ending was very interesting for me. I thought Jack is funny man.
I don’t have rode on a taxi in foreign country, but I want to ride it someday!

BR 1-12: STAR REPORTER

I read “STAR REPORTER” in this time. The book had so many pictures like a comic, so I enjoyed reading.

Steve’s father is editor of the Cado Star. Cado Star is weekly newspaper. Steve’s father had a reporter, but the reporter was ill. So his father was in trouble. His father asked Steve to find something interesting.

Marietta is a cameraman, so she wanted to take an interesting photograph. And she wanted to sell some photographs to Cado Star’s office.

Steve went to many places for finding interesting things. But, that day was his bad day! He fell in fountain, tumbled a shelf, spilled orange juice on his thigh and fell in pond.
Marietta saw everything and took a lot of photographs.

In Cado Stars office, Steve and Marietta met. Steve wrote an interesting article, and Marietta took an interesting photographs.
So Steve’s father was glad, they were happy!

I thought Steve was poor! But he is very interesting and cute, I thought.
He became Marietta’s boyfriend, so I thought that he became happy!!

BR 1-11: Sara Says No!

I read “Sara Says No!” This book was written in easy English, so it was easy to read.

Mister Fruit is clerk of a fruit shop. And his daughter also worked his shop. His daughter’s name is Sara. Everybody liked fruit of their shop, Mister Fruit and Sara. “Mister Fruit is honest and Friendly!” every body said. “Sara is very nice girl!” everybody said.

One day, a school boy came to their fruit shop for buying one kilo of apples. Mister Fruit weighted some apples. A scale pointed nine hundred grams. But Mister Fruit said, “Here you are! This is one kilo of apples. It is one dollar!!” Sara saw everything, so she was angry. But Mister Fruit didn’t think about himself. So she thought she didn’t want to work with him, didn’t want to cook his meal and didn’t want to help him!!
Sara quarreled with Mister Fruit that night.

Next day, customers of the fruit shop were laughing, because some fruits became bad when Mister Fruit touched it! But when Sara touched fruits, didn’t become bad!
So everybody bought fruits from Sara.

Next year, Sara became owner of the fruit shop, and Mister Fruit stayed home. They lived happily!

I thought Sara is really honest girl! I like her, but I don’t like Mister Fruit. But I got to like at last.

BR 1-10: The Umbrella

I read “the Umbrella”. I don’t like rainy day, but I like umbrella. Because I bought a new umbrella last month Colors of it were pink, white, brown and light brown. I like it very much! So I was interested in the book.

Main character of the book is Carla. Carla went to a market on a rainy day. She looked a red umbrella. She liked it, so she wanted to buy it. But the red umbrella is ten dollars. She is a university student, so she didn’t have much money. She said to the market’s clerk, “I want to buy the red umbrella, but I have only seven dollars…” Then, the clerk said, “OK. Today is your lucky day. I give you the red umbrella, so please give me seven dollars!” Carla was very glad to hear that!

Next she went to the cake shop, and bought some cakes. When she went out the cake shop, her red umbrella has lost!! She was very angry. She was obliged to take another umbrella. The umbrella was not smart. When she walked the street, she was spoken to a young man. “Are you Marisa?” he said, “I’m not Marisa!” she said. At first, she didn’t like him. But he was very good man, so she got to like him. They went to the restaurant and talked about a lot of things. They had a very good time.

Carla found a thief who stole her red umbrella after they left each other. But she was not angry, because she met the very good man. That day is Carla’s Lucky Day!!

I envy Carla, because she met a very good man! I thought she is very lucky. But I felt pity losing the red umbrella.

BR 1-09: Lucky Number

I read "Lucky Number" last night. The reason that I chose the book is title of the book. When I saw the title at first, I thought the book seems to be interesting! Actually, it is very interesting.

A main character of the story is Carlie. He is a child, and he works in the pavement as shoeshine boy. He shined men's shoes or women's shoes everyday.

One day, an old man was selling the public lottery. A man who sit on chair in Cafe Colombo bought it. Charlie was seeing it. When the man who bought the public lottery got into the taxi, he dropped the public lottery. Charlie picked up it and called the man. But the man didn't notice.

Chalie came back to home at night. Hehanded his mother the public lottery, then his mother read the number of it.

That night, Carlie had a dream.
A goat came into his room, and the goat ate the public lottery!
He got up and checked the lottery. The lottery has been lost!!

Carlie was impatient about it, but actually, his mother had it.

Will they win the prise!?

This story is little sad I thought. Because some Carlie's illustration of the book seem to be sad.

But I thought that the story is very lucky story. I want to know whether their public lottery come up!!

BR 1-08: The Truth Machine

I read "The Truth Machine" yesterday. The book was divide the paragraphs into five. This story is little long, but the book was written in easy English, so I could read immediately.

The title of first paragraph is "Success for Professor Verity".

Professor Verity invented a machine. The machine's name is "The Truth Machine". The machine can guess whether she or he says truth. The professor telephoned to the newspaper office, and he said "Come on my laboratory. I invented a wonderful machine. The machine's name is "The Truth Machine"! The newspaper office sent a reporter immediately at the professor's laboratory.

The reporter arrived at there, and the professor showed the reporter to the Truth Machine. The reporter asked some question about it. The professor answered it. The reporter noted down his answer, and he returned his newspaper office. He wrote an article about the professor Verity and the Truth Machine, so the professor become very famous. Then, the professor advertised on TV for a first client.

The title of second paragraph is "Three Visitors for professor Verity"

A woman came the professor's laboratory, so she was his first client. The woman's name is Mrs Seeker. According to Mrs Seeker, her husband may be keeping something secret from her. So, she want to know the truth from her husband. The professor said "I will help you, so you must pay some money". Mrs Seeker paid money for him. And he said "Come to my laboratory next Monday morning. Everything will be ready!"

Next, a man cames his laboratory, his name is Inspector Sack. He is also Professor's client. He hated lies and all criminals. All criminals tell a lie, so he wants to the truth from their. Professor Verity said "I will help you, so you have to pay some money" and "Come to my laboratory next Monday afternoon".

Finally, a man came to his laboratory. His name is Dr Simple who was a government official. He has caught an enemy spy, but the spy doesn't tell anything. So, Dr Simple wants to know secret that the spy has. Professor Verity said again "I will help you, so you you should pay some money". Dr Simple paid a lot of money. The professor said "Come to my laboratory next Monday evening. Everything will be ready".

The title of third paragraph is "Monday. A Busy Day for Professor Verity"

In the Monday morning, Mrs and Mr Seeker came to Professor's laboratory. Mrs Seeker was very angry because her husband laughed frivolously. The professor made him sit on the Truth Machine, and she asked him the secret that he has. Then, Mr Seeker said "I don't love you. I love Anne Elliott". Mrs Seeker started to cry and said "It's just inconceivable! Anne Elliott is my friend! What shall I do now!!"

In the Monday afternoon, Inspector Sack, his boss and some criminals came to laboratory. The professor made some criminals sit on the Truth Machine. Most of all criminals were real offender, but one of all was innocence. Inspector Sack was happy because he could catch many criminals. But, his boss said to him "You are good Inspector, but we don't need you". "Unbelievable! What shall I do!!", Inspector Sack said.

In the Monday evening, Dr Simple and a spy came professor's laboratory. The professor made the spy sit on the Truth Machine. Dr Simple asked the spy some question, and the spy answered it. But the spy said "I always tell a lie, it is the truth". So, Dr Simple couldn't discriminate that the spy tell a lie or the truth. Dr Simple was confused with fact.

The title of fourth paragraph is "Tuesday. An Important Meeting"

Mrs Seeker, Inspector Sack and Dr Simple were not very happy after used the Truth Machine. So, they wanted to pay the professor Verity back the money. They went to his laboratory.

The title of fifth paragraph is "At the Laboratory Again"

Mrs Seeker, Inspector Sack and Dr Simple caught professor Verity, and they said "We could know the truth, but we are very unhappy now!" They were at a loss, but professor laughed and said "you idiot! You gave me many and power!"

Inspector Sack shot Professor Verity, Mrs Seeker shouted and Dr Simple broke the Truth Machine.

I think that the Truth Machine is not useful. Because people who used it became unhappy! I was interested in the Truth Machine, but I don't want to use it. It is good what we knew the truth, but a lie is also important I think.

BR 1-07: Alissa

I read 'Alissa' today. So, I will talk about the book this time.

Alissa is a girl who lives in small village. She likes reading, so she read a book everyday. One day, her father talked with a fat man about Alissa. Her father said her "Alissa, you must go with the man, and you have to work in the city!". Alissa didn't like a fat man, so She didn't want to go. But she must go with him. A fat man gave some money to her father.

She wanted to go to school in her small village.

Alissa and a fat man arrived in the city, and she met a thin man. She lived in his house. His wife is very severe with Alissa, so she cried every night. A thin man's wife didn't like Alissa.

One day, a thin man too Alissa out, and he said "You must go. My wife hates you".

Next, Alissa worked with five other girls in a small and dark room. Their owners was also severe, so they had to work twelve hours in a day.

The owner noticed that Alissa can reading and writing, so the owner made her work in the owner's shop. Alissa met a tall and pretty lady in there. Alissa likes her because she gives smile to Alissa.

One day, the owner was angry, and she said "You don't leave the shop again! You are a not good girl!!" Alissa started to cry, and she thought that "I am not slave for you!!"

Then, a tall and pretty lady came the shop, and she said that Alissa is a very good girl! And she asked Alissa "What do you want to do?". Alissa said her " I want to go to school!" A tall and pretty lady decided to take Alissa out, and they left for lady's house.

Alissa is not a slave. So, she is going to go to school. And She is going to live happily with a tall and pretty lady.

I thought this story is very sad. Alissa's father is cruel to sell Alissa. But, Alissa's father and mother had to sell their daughter, because they also must live. I hope that Alissa come to laugh more in the future.
