self-introduction (essay 1)

Nice to meet you. My name is Risa S. I'm a student majoring in KGU. I'll be staying for six weeks this summer.

I live in Kumamoto prefecture in Japan. Kumamamto prefecture lies to the south of Japan. But Kumamoto prefecture is very cold, so it snow in winter. Do your country fall snow in winter? And also, Japan is very hot and humid during July and August. I will go to your country in this summer, so I want to ask you about summer of your country. What is the temperature of your
country in summer? And do people of your country go to the beach?

Next I want to introduce my family to you. I have four members in my family. My father is postman, so he sells postcards stamps and so on, and my mother works at a hotel. My younger brother is a high school student. He likes to listen to music, and also he likes to play the guitar. I love my family. please tell me about your family when we meet in this summer.

Changing the subject, do you know Chinese character? Japanese generally write to own name in Chinese character. Each Chinese character has own meaning. For example, the meaning of my name (理沙) is as follows. The meaning of 理 is reason, logic and sense. The meaning of 沙 is sand. I think Chinese character is very interesting. I'm glad if you thought Chinese character is interesting too.

I like culture and structure in foreign countries. So, please tell me about various things of your country. I'm looking forward to learning a lot. Good bye!

It is good to explain about your chinese character. It is very interesting for your host hamily. It is better to introduce yourself in more detail. For example, what is your hobby, favorite singer, your dream and so on. I want to see your father because he is postman!
